MAXSTILE SRL is a Romanian upholstered furniture manufacturer based in Arad, a city with an established industrial tradition in woodworking and furniture making, documented since the late 19th century and later strengthened through the development of specialized facilities in the area.

Since 2000, MAXSTILE SRL has been designing and manufacturing modern sofas that combine exclusive Italian design with functionality. Our products are positioned in the premium segment and are primarily intended for international markets, in a context where Romania’s furniture industry is strongly export-oriented.

Since 2024, MAXSTILE SRL has also been selling its products on the Romanian market through online e-commerce platforms.

The experience built over time, disciplined processes and attention to detail define us as a high-quality furniture manufacturer, focused on every stage of production. We choose valuable materials and treat each product as a unique piece, built for long-term comfort, durability and aesthetics.

For us, sustainability is not a trend, but a long-term responsibility. We design sofas to be used for many years, with solid frames, carefully selected materials and finishes that keep their appearance over time. We work with high-standard suppliers, optimize processes to reduce material waste, and continuously monitor energy efficiency and quality, so each product means fewer replacements, less waste and real value for the customer.

About leather
Our leather models are made exclusively from natural leather tanned in Italy by craftsmen with well-established traditions, in full compliance with environmental requirements. Leather is a natural, breathable material that can absorb up to 25% moisture of its own weight, adapts easily to the temperature of the environment and the body, does not allow dust or hair to penetrate (thus reducing the risk of allergic reactions), helps maintain consistent comfort, and offers remarkable elasticity and resistance over time. Depending on the finish, leather can be natural (more authentic, with more open pores) or pigmented (more protected and generally easier to maintain). For both types, we recommend periodic dust removal with a soft cloth and applying a dedicated product (leather milk) twice a year, as well as avoiding direct sunlight.

A leather sofa is a long-term investment.

About fabric
The fabrics used for our fabric models come from leading manufacturers in Italy and combine colours, textures and quality at a high level. We use natural-fibre fabrics or microfibre, selected to meet different customer needs: cotton is natural, soft and breathable, but requires more care; wool is valued for durability and thermal comfort, but needs careful maintenance; microfibre is a popular option thanks to stain and wear resistance, is easy to clean and is especially suitable for families with children or pets. Our designers and stylists continuously seek special fabrics with up-to-date colour palettes and superior performance for a modern, versatile and practical everyday design.

Wherever possible, we also promote Romanian weaving mills, turning our success into success for our community.

About Relax & Motion
Modern lines, reclining headrests, optional relaxation systems and discreetly integrated controls. Our Power Motion sofas are also available in bi-motor versions with two basic movements: the first extends the footrest with a gentle tilt, and the second extends the seat and reclines the backrest together with the headrests, for maximum comfort and an optimal relaxation position. For situations where the sofa is placed far from a socket, we offer detachable Li-Ion battery solutions with up to one month of use (depending on frequency). For manual features, such as adjustable headrests or armrest cushions, adjustment is simple and effortless. The ratchet mechanisms used offer up to 120° opening and are produced by KOYO Corporation (Japan), known for high quality and long-term durability.

About HR polyurethane foam
Thanks to its randomly arranged open-cell structure, high-resilience (HR) polyurethane foam provides comfortable elasticity and firm support. It ensures improved air and moisture ventilation and quickly returns to its original shape after compression. The HR foam used has a density of 35 kg/m³, contributing to a high level of comfort and durability.

About conjugated siliconized hollow polyester fibre
Conjugated siliconized hollow polyester fibre, HCS 7Dx64, is made from virgin raw material and is used for back cushions. The fineness is 7 Den and the fibre length is 64 mm. The material is hypoallergenic, has very good elasticity, a long service life and high air permeability. The fibres are 100% virgin polyester, three-dimensionally crimped, lighter due to a high hollow core ratio and more elastic through conjugation.

About frames and structure
Our sofa frames are made from durable materials such as plywood (12/18 mm), MDF (4/10 mm), particle board (12/16 mm), beech wood and fir wood. The supporting structure elements are fixed with screws for stability and durability. We maintain a diversified palette of colours and materials for accessories such as legs, so each customer can choose the best match down to the most demanding details.

About painted “no-sag” sinuous springs
For added comfort and durability, we use “no-sag” sinuous springs made of spring steel and protected by painting. They provide uniform seat support, reduce deformation over time and help the sofa keep its shape even under intensive use. The paint layer protects the springs against corrosion and increases resistance in humid conditions, extending the life of the structure.

About elastic webbing
For optimal seat and back support, we use high-strength elastic webbing, tensioned and firmly fixed to the sofa frame. It distributes weight evenly, increases comfort in use and helps maintain shape over time. Thanks to controlled elasticity, the webbing reduces pressure points and works together with foam and springs to provide a balanced, stable and durable feel.

Standards and certifications of our products
Our products meet high quality and safety standards and are tested in accordance with applicable European regulations. The sofas have undergone strength, durability and stability tests in RENAR-accredited laboratories, in accordance with SR EN 12520:2016, SR EN 1728:2012, SR EN 1728:2012/AC:2013 and SR EN 1022:2019. Seats are tested to meet international requirements regarding the strength and functionality of incorporated mechanisms, with a 160 kg test load distributed across segments (legs, torso, head) and 10,000 uninterrupted cycles. The linear actuators used in our products have been tested by TÜV Rheinland for compliance with European electromagnetic compatibility standards, so the products do not interfere with other electronic equipment and operate optimally under any conditions (EN 55014-1:2017, EN 55014-2:2015, EN 61000-3-2:2019 and EN 61000-3-3:2013). Tests confirmed that each component meets or exceeds the standards’ requirements, ensuring durability and reliability in daily use, and the tested products are identical to those marketed, using the same manufacturing technologies.
