Return Policy
Note: This text is drafted in line with Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, as implemented in national legislation. MAXSTILE SRL is a trader established in Romania and applies the relevant Romanian rules (GEO/OUG no. 34/2014). The terms are also aligned with the Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act and Hungary’s Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) to the extent mandatory national consumer rules apply.
Under Romanian GEO/OUG no. 34/2014 and in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU, the consumer (natural person) has the right to withdraw from a distance contract without penalties and without giving any reason, within 14 calendar days from the date on which the consumer acquires physical possession of the product. The right of withdrawal is exercised by sending MAXSTILE SRL an unequivocal notice (for example, by e-mail) before the deadline expires.
In the event of withdrawal, the consumer must return the products without undue delay and, in any case, no later than 14 calendar days from the date on which the withdrawal was communicated. The direct cost of return shipment is borne by the consumer, unless
MAXSTILE SRL has agreed to bear it or applicable law provides otherwise. The consumer is only liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products.
MAXSTILE SRL will refund the amounts received from the consumer, including the initial delivery costs (where applicable, up to the cost of standard delivery), within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date MAXSTILE SRL is informed of the consumer’s decision to withdraw. MAXSTILE SRL may withhold the refund until the returned goods are received or until proof of return shipment is provided, whichever occurs first. For card payments, the refund will generally be made using the same payment method, unless an alternative method is expressly agreed.
Under applicable legislation, certain categories of products/services may be excluded from the right of withdrawal (for example, goods likely to deteriorate or expire rapidly, as well as other cases provided by law). If the mandatory information about the right of withdrawal was not properly provided, the withdrawal period may be extended as provided by law.
