The Austin sofa was born from the idea of comfort and practicality, where aesthetics are dedicated to home well-being.

Comfortable and casual, the Austin sofa has a versatile style that allows it to fit elegantly into any interior. It rests on a light leather base with modern and refined metal legs. The model can be upholstered in genuine leather, fabric, or microfiber.

Leather

The product is made entirely of natural leather, tanned exclusively in Italy, with full respect for the environment.

Advantages of natural leather:

• Breathable: it absorbs up to 25% of its own weight in moisture;
• Adapts easily to temperature: it takes on the ambient air temperature and adjusts to the human body temperature without exceeding it;
• Does not allow dust or hair to penetrate, thus preventing allergic reactions;
• Elastic and durable.
• A leather product lasts a lifetime.

Relaxation

The innovative armrests are equipped with modern ratchet systems that can be adjusted manually according to need. The ratchet mechanisms have a 45° opening angle and are manufactured by KOYO Corporation Japan, known for their high quality and long-lasting durability.

The movable headrests can be easily repositioned and mounted on any desired backrest. Additional movable headrests can be produced and supplied for all backrest sections of the sofa.

High Resilience (HR) Polyurethane Foam

The seat is made of high-resilience polyurethane foam, wrapped in wadding before being covered with the leather upholstery, to ensure superior comfort.

With an open-cell structure arranged randomly, the high-resilience polyurethane foam provides a comfortable elasticity and firm body support. It offers improved air and moisture ventilation and immediately returns to its original shape after compression. The HR foam used has a density of 35 kg/m³, providing exceptional support, comfort, and durability.

Hollow Conjugated Siliconized Polyester Fiber (HCS)

The backrest is filled with HCS-type hollow conjugated siliconized polyester fiber to ensure high comfort. The fiber is made from 100% virgin polyester, with a fineness of 7 den and a fiber length of 64 mm.

Main characteristics: hypoallergenic material, excellent elasticity, long lifespan, and outstanding air permeability.

Frame Structure

All sofa frames are made from durable materials: plywood (12/18 mm), MDF (4/10 mm), particle board (12/16 mm), beech wood, and fir wood.
The structural support parts are fastened with screws for maximum stability.

Metal Legs

The metal legs feature a modern design, are chrome-plated in a “gunmetal” finish (“canna di fucile”), and have a height of 14 cm, allowing access for robot vacuum cleaners and efficient air circulation in case of underfloor heating systems.
